The Shalla

The Shalla Collection is inspired by the geometric ornamentation found in the ancient necropolis of Shalla, just outside Rabat, Morocco. Once a Roman outpost and later transformed into a Marinid sanctuary, Shalla reflects centuries of layered history where ruins, mosaics, and decorative stonework speak to a deep tradition of craftsmanship.

Each piece in the collection reimagines this architectural legacy through patterns that emphasize symmetry, rhythm, and spatial clarity. The designs draw from interlocking forms found in carved plaster and tile, evoking the quiet elegance of Moroccan geometry.
