Collection: The Qarawiyyin

The Qarawiyyin Collection is inspired by the geometric traditions of the Qarawiyyin Mosque in Fez, Morocco, founded in the 9th century by Fatima al-Fihri. A visionary woman of learning and faith, Fatima used her inheritance to establish what is now considered one of the world’s oldest universities, a centre of scholarship, spiritual life, and artistic innovation across the Islamic world.

Each piece in the collection draws from this historic site, where geometry was used not only for decoration but as a means of expressing harmony and order. Interlocking stars, nested polygons, and balanced compositions reflect a tradition shaped by knowledge, devotion, and craft.

Carefully designed and finished by hand, the Qarawiyyin Collection offers a quiet tribute to this legacy, reimagining centuries of intellectual and artistic achievement in forms suited for contemporary spaces.
