The Alcazar Coaster Set

This six-piece set draws from the intricate geometry of the Alcazar of Seville, where centuries of Islamic, Christian, and Mudejar craftsmanship come together in harmonious design. Inspired by the richly patterned surfaces of Andalusian palaces, the collection celebrates a legacy where ornament was both structure and expression.

Each of the five coasters features a variation on a twelve-pointed star, radiating through interlocking forms and angular symmetry. The compositions reflect the balance and rhythm found in carved ceilings, tilework, and lattice screens throughout southern Spain. Together, the designs create a visual dialogue that is both unified and dynamic.

Crafted with digital precision using premium wood filament and finished by hand, each piece is carefully sanded to sharpen crisp lines and reveal the depth of its interlocking geometry. Multiple protective finishes are applied to seal the surface, enhance contrast, and improve durability, resulting in a refined matte appearance built to withstand everyday use.

Measuring 104 millimetres in diameter, each coaster is ideal for warm and cold drinks up to 70°C. The set includes five coasters and a matching base for convenient storage or display, offering a quiet touch of historical elegance to any table.
