This compact hexagonal magnet blends careful craftsmanship with centuries-old design tradition. The pattern draws inspiration from the palaces of Al-Andalus, where intricate ornamentation transformed architecture into art. It is deeply influenced by Mudejar craftsmanship, a distinctive style developed by Muslim artisans working under Christian rule in medieval Spain. Mudejar design blends Islamic geometry with European architectural forms, resulting in richly patterned surfaces that reflect both cultural complexity and visual harmony.
At its centre is a twelve-pointed star radiating through layered geometric forms and angular symmetry, all contained within a bold hexagonal frame. The structure echoes the balance and rhythm found in carved ceilings, tilework, and lattice panels throughout southern Spain.
Created with digital precision using premium wood filament and finished by hand, this small-scale piece retains the clarity and depth of its larger counterparts. Measuring 84 millimetres across, it is backed with multiple magnets and brings a refined, historic touch to any magnetic surface.
