History
This bookmark is inspired by the rich geometry of the Tomb of Bibi Jawindi in Uch Sharif, a 15th-century architectural gem that reflects a blend of Central Asian, Persian, and South Asian design traditions. Built during the Sayyid dynasty, the tomb is celebrated for its glazed tilework, layered brick detailing, and harmonious octagonal structure.
Design
The pattern captures the energy and balance of the original monument through interlocking stars and angular forms arranged in rhythmic symmetry. It echoes the language of sacred geometry found throughout the tomb’s surfaces, where ornament served as both devotion and design.
Crafting & Finishing
Digitally modelled for precision and crafted with premium wood PLA, each piece is carefully shaped and hand-finished to reveal crisp lines and surface clarity. Multiple protective coatings are applied to preserve texture, enhance contrast, and ensure a durable matte appearance suited for regular use.
