This piece is inspired by the vibrant geometry of the Tomb of Bibi Jawindi in Uch Sharif, a 15th-century masterpiece that blends Central Asian, Persian, and South Asian design traditions. Built during the reign of the Sayyid dynasty, the tomb is known for its vivid glazed tilework, octagonal symmetry, and richly layered ornament.
The pattern captures this visual richness through interlocking star forms and angular shapes arranged in a balanced, symmetrical composition. It echoes the decorative language found across the tomb’s domed surfaces and carved brick facades, where geometry carried both spiritual and structural meaning.
Created with digital precision using premium wood filament and finished by hand, each piece is carefully sanded to bring out crisp lines and surface depth. Multiple protective finishes are applied to enhance contrast, preserve texture, and create a durable matte appearance. Enclosed in a 70 millimetre square and backed with multiple magnets, it adds a small but striking historical accent to any magnetic surface.
