History

This six-piece set draws from the architectural strength and visual clarity of Meknes, the 17th-century imperial city built under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Known for its towering gates, fortress-like walls, and bold geometric detailing, Meknes reflects a design tradition grounded in power, symmetry, and order.

Design

Each coaster showcases interlocking geometric forms reminiscent of the decorative motifs carved into the city’s stone and plaster. The balance and clarity of the design reflect the structural rhythm found throughout Meknes’s monumental architecture, from its fortified gates to its palace walls.

Crafting & Finishing

Digitally modelled for precision and crafted with premium wood PLA, every piece is carefully shaped and hand-finished to sharpen its crisp geometry and surface depth. Multiple protective coatings are applied to preserve the surface, enhance contrast, and ensure durability with a smooth finish suitable for everyday use.
